I wrote a small paragraph regarding war with Iran aligning with the Jewish holiday of Purim in last week’s report.

The same night, we saw the first bombs dropped (on the eve of Purim – February 28th).

The escalation of this war now shows no sign of fading fast.

Iran immediately retaliated with waves of missiles and drones against Israeli targets and US bases across the Gulf – including in Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

A second escalation came through Iran’s proxy network. Hezbollah in Lebanon entered the conflict after the killing of Khamenei and began launching rockets into Israel, prompting Israeli airstrikes into Lebanon.

These proxy forces are central to Iran’s regional strategy, and their involvement effectively turns the conflict into a broader Middle East war rather than a bilateral one.

A long war, potentially, rather than short.

The chart below from global forecaster David Murrin is one I have referenced numerous times in previous reports because it brilliantly demonstrates the timing of the Kondratieff cycle – which is also war cycle as I pointed out in this LCI report - Land, War, and the End-Of-Cycle Battle for Global Power.
